$9 tickets.
Â
The last time out,
Aron Martinez found the back of the net early on Tuesday night and
Dani Garcia scored his first career goal, but FGCU fell 4-2 to FIU.Â
Â
Martinez tallied his fifth goal of the season in the 10th minute after
Marco Santana played a ball up the right wing. Martinez took two dribbles, then delivered a scalding shot to the top left corner to put FGCU up 1-0. His five goals already matches the five goals
Salvador Martinez and
Caio Oliveira each had to lead the Eagles in scoring in 2025, and brings him to a tie for the second-most goals in the ASUN this season.
Â
Trailing by three goals, FGCU kept its intensity and eventually found an opportunity.
Jai Sahni crossed the ball to the middle of the pitch well outside of the box in the 75th minute, and
Dani Garcia took a quick look at the goal before rocketing his first career Division I score to the top left of the net.Â
Â
The Knights head to Fort Myers at 5-2-2. Bellarmine has nonconference wins over Evansville and Northern Kentucky, and played to a scoreless draw against Xavier. In ASUN play, BU defeated Stetson but fell to Central Arkansas and West Florida.
Â
Teddy Franke and Johan Nissen-Lie are tied for the Knights' team lead with three goals each. Colin Mackey has three assists for Bellarmine, which has ten unique goal scorers and six players with multiple goals. The Knights rank second in the ASUN with 34 goals scored and have 17 players who have recorded a point in 2026.Â
Â
In goal, Tudor Iordan and Benny Howard have nearly identical stats. Iordan has six starts to Howard's three, but the duo have played 408 and 401 minutes, respectively. Both have 12 saves and have allowed five goals for an identical .706 save percentage.
Â
Bellarmine leads the all-time series 3-2-2. The last time the two teams met, they played to a 1-1 draw on Nov. 9, 2024. The Eagles lead 1-0-1 in Fort Myers and drew 1-1 on Oct. 7, 2023. The seven contests between the two sides have been played in five different cities – Fort Myers, Louisville, Jacksonville, Conway, Ark. and DeLand, Fla.
