Spent his freshman season at Iowa Western Community College in 2024, appearing in 16 matches with four starts, scoring seven goals and adding an assist... Recorded a season-high two goals against Central CC-Columbus (Sept. 4)... Helped the Reivers win a national championship... Earned First Team ICCAC Academic All-Region honors in both the 2024 fall and 2025 spring semesters... Signed with FC Tucson in 2025.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Dodge City High School under coach Saul Hernandez... Helped lead the program to the 2020 State Championship... Scored 86 goals in 80 career games, a school record for most career goals, and also holds the school's single-season scoring record... Named 2023 Kansas 6A Forward of the Year and Conference Player of the Year, earning First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference honors twice each... Played club soccer for Sporting Wichita under coach Tommy Fiszel.

Son of Mario Martinez... Has two siblings, Erik and Mario... Chose FGCU for the strength of the program and its plans for continued growth... His favorite sport moment was winning nationals with Iowa Western as a freshman... Something no one really knows about him is that he has been playing soccer since he was four years old... Would like to meet Lionel Messi, whom he looks up to most in soccer... Aspires to earn a bachelor's degree in accounting and eventually pursue a master's... Majoring in Accounting.
