FORT MYERS, Fla. –  After spending the bulk of August and September away from home, Florida Gulf Coast men's soccer begins a four game homestand at Pickering Field against FIU at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Tickets for the contest are on sale now. The contest will be International Night; fans can enjoy music from around the world & students can enter to win prizes at Global Engagement Services's table at the entrance.

The Eagles enter their penultimate nonconference game at 4-4-1 after recording their first draw of the season on Saturday at Queens. Flavio D'Angelo and Michael Ndiweni found the back of the net in the 2-2 contest; Ndiweni scored the equalizer in the 86th minute to earn the result. Both of Ndiweni's goals at FGCU have come on the road in the 86th minute, as he also posted the game-winner against Virginia on Aug. 31.

Aron Martinez leads FGCU on the campaign with 11 points on four goals and three assists. D'Angelo, Emerson LaOrden and Brooks Beeman each have three goals for a FGCU offense that has fired on all cylinders as September comes to a close. The Eagles have averaged 1.89 goals per game in 2026, an improvement from 1.44 goals per game in 2025. Eduard Garcia is 3-0-1 in goal with a .789 save percentage through four games.

The Panthers head to Fort Myers at 3-3-2. FIU has split a pair or ranked matchups, defeating No. 20 NC State 2-1 on Aug. 27 and falling 2-1 to No. 19 Missouri State on Sept. 11. FIU drew with Memphis its last time out and also has a win over Drake. Santi Possu has been the dominant goal scorer for the Panthers, with six of the side's ten goals in 2026, including one against NC State and both against Memphis. Martin Piedeleu has a pair of assists, and Finn Bauens has totaled 617 minutes on the back line. In goal, Nigel Van Haveren has played all eight games. He has 18 saves and a 1.53 GAA.

FIU holds the all-time series edge, 13-4. The Eagles' last win was a 2-1 victory on Oct. 3, 2018, in Miami, and FGCU's lone home win in the series came by the same score on Sept. 24, 2010.
