Spent two seasons at Mercer County Community College... Tallied 29 goals and 17 assists over his career, including 20 goals and 10 assists as a sophomore... Earned NJCAA All-American and All-Region First Team honors, along with NJCAA All-American Academic and All-Region Academic recognition.

Son of Oscar Garcia... Has one sibling, Adrián, who also plays soccer... Chose FGCU for the competitiveness and vision of the program, and the opportunity to compete at the Division I level with a team of strong standards and ambition... His favorite sport moment was watching Spain win the 2010 FIFA World Cup, an experience that inspired his dream of competing at the highest level, along with admiration for FC Barcelona under Pep Guardiola... Would like to meet Lionel Messi, his role model for his talent, mentality, humility and consistency... His father played soccer in his youth, though not collegiately or professionally...
