FORT MYERS, Fla. – After the opening 10 events of the two-day meet between the FGCU swimming & diving team (5-0, 4-0 CCSA) and Houston (3-0, 2-0 American), the Cougars have jumped out to a 117-69 lead over the Eagles.
"The team is performing very well," head coach
Dave Rollins said. "We challenged them to find ways to improve from last week and they are doing exactly that. Houston is a very well-coached, talented team that has scored at NCAAs. That's what we are building our program to be. Our younger swimmers are learning every meet and have been incredible. Their energy has been exactly what we needed."
