Dave Rollins and Antonio Nunez-Alvarez Selected to Coach Team USA at FISU America Games

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving head coach Dave Rollins and assistant coach Antonio Nunez-Alvarez have been selected to represent Team USA at the 2026 FISU America Games, set to take place this July in Lima, Peru.

Rollins will serve as the head coach for the United States, while Nunez-Alvarez will join the staff as an assistant coach. The pair will help guide the American squad during the swimming competition, which will be held July 24–26 at the Videna Aquatic Center.

"I am blessed and humbled to be selected as the Head Coach for the FISU America Games," said Rollins. "To represent one's country on the international stage is an absolute honor. Excited to have Antonio on staff as well, he is a first class coach and brings valuable experience to our staff. A great opportunity for us, our families, FGCU, and Team USA!"

Rollins and Nunez-Alvarez will be joined on the Team USA coaching staff by Molly Hebzynski of Oakland, Ryan Bubb of Florida Atlantic, and Lauren Sullivan of Arizona.

The FISU America Games are a FISU-sanctioned international event featuring collegiate athletes from across North, Central, and South America. The United States roster for the swimming competition will be selected by this staff of NCAA coaches, providing a strong international opportunity for college swimmers while also recognizing the leadership and success of the coaches chosen to represent Team USA.
