As A Senior (2018)
Unanimous ASUN Defender of the Year, ASUN First Team, All-Atlantic Second Team…logged a team-high 1,441 minutes starting in all 16 matches… played the full 90 minutes or more on 12 occasions… attempted five shots, one on goal… staple on the FGCU backline that led the conference with a 0.83 GAA... helped lead FGCU to five shutouts.

ASUN Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 25) … secured three goals and one assist on the season for seven points to rank tied for 6th on the team … tied for the most goals on the team as a defender and the most shots with 17 … the only member of the team to play and start in all 17 games, logging a team-high 1,510 minutes (89 per game) … provided an assist against NJIT (Oct. 29) for a 5-0 win at home … game-winning goal against UCF (Sept. 19) in a 1-0 FGCU triumph … tallied two goals against Vermont (Sept. 1) … among all ASUN teams, the Eagles allowed just 22 goals all year – tied for the fewest in the league … helped lead FGCU to seven shutouts – one more than any other league team … also assisted in FGCU’s league-low 1.23 goals against average for the year.

Key defender who helped secure an FGCU backline which allowed just six goals in ASUN action – tied for the 2nd-fewest in the league … played in 20 of 21 games … made nine starts, including each of the final five matches of the year … led all FGCU defenders by passing out four assists to rank 5th on the team … corner specialist who set up each of FGCU’s closing two goals in the ASUN Championship Final versus Jacksonville (Nov. 12) … took the corner and was credited with an assist for the go-ahead goal in the 34th minute … delivered another corner and was credited with an assist on the championship-clinching goal in the 82nd minute as FGCU went on to win, 3-2 … first assist of the year came at Loyola Marymount (Sept. 2) … second helper of the campaign came as a result of his throw-in which led directly to an Albert Ruiz goal versus UNCW (Sept. 17) … attempted 12 shots, four of which were on frame … two of those occurred in the NCAA Tournament First Round at USF (Nov. 17) … was not substituted out at all in any of FGCU’s final five games – four of which went to overtime, including both NCAA Tournament contests and the ASUN Championship semifinal … logged 1,118 minutes.

Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team member … A-Sun Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 14 … earned that honor after scoring the game-winning goal in the 89th minute of his collegiate debut versus Princeton (Sept. 10) … he laced his shot from 35 yards out into the upper-corner of the net, earning the No. 3 spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays … the 3-2 FGCU victory over the Tigers snapped what was at the time the nation’s longest unbeaten streak at 10 … played in seven games and made two starts, including a 4-0 A-Sun triumph over Lipscomb (Oct. 17) … played the full time in each of those starts (110 minutes at FAU; 90 minutes vs. Lipscomb) … attempted 10 shots on the year, most of which came from his back left position … 10 shots were the most by any defender on the team … aided FGCU’s defensive unit that paced the A-Sun in goals allowed (13 – nine fewer than any other team), goals-against average (0.88 – 0.45 better than any other team) and shutouts (seven – two more than any other team).

Made 30 appearances as a central defender for De Anza Force Soccer Club, one of the top non-MLS programs in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) … did not play high school soccer as a senior at College Park due to USSDA rules … also played two years at left back and midfield with Diablo FC and helped the team to a national ranking as high as fifth … played three seasons as a midfielder and forward at Campolindo High School in Moraga, Calif. … earned the team’s Offensive MVP award as a sophomore and junior … helped his team to a 51-17-11 (.715 winning percentage) record in three varsity seasons … scored 18 goals and distributed 15 assists in three seasons … second-leading scorer in the Diablo Foothill Athletic League (DFAL) as a sophomore with 11 goals and seven assists … two-time Contra Costa Times East Bay Star of the Week … Second Team All-DFAL as a junior and Honorable Mention as a sophomore.
