ORLANDO, Fla. -Â The Florida Gulf Coast University women's swimming and diving team opened the ASUN Championships with a statement performance Wednesday night at the Rosen Aquatic Center, capturing a relay title in conference-record time, earning an individual championship victory, and piling up points across the finals to take the early team lead.

DAY ONE RESULTS
- The Eagles opened the night with a championship performance in the 200 medley relay as the "A" relay of Izzy Ackley, Cassie Bauer, Libby Russum, and Mia Burke captured the title in 1:36.80, setting a new FGCUÂ and conference record.
- In the 500 free A-final, Aislyn Barnett finished runner-up with a 4:49.13, while Jasmin Kroll placed fifth in 4:54.92 and Nadia Helm took eighth in 5:02.07 to give the Eagles three scorers in the championship heat. Lily Magda represented FGCU in the 500 free C-final, placing 17th overall with a 5:00.43.
- In the 3m dive, Alexandra Andueza led the Eagles in the A-final with a second-place finish and a zone-qualifying score of 286.65, while Bella Pfeil placed eighth with a score of 220.25. In the B-final, Kaylin Olson finished 10th overall with a 236.95, Brianna Rodetsky placed 12th with a 214.50, and Rylie Darkatsh took 16th overall with a score of 189.10.
- The 200 IM A-final featured two Eagles as Bauer placed fourth in 2:02.67 and Nori Hetyei finished fifth in 2:03.19. Jordan Durocher competed in the 200 IM B-final and finished 11th overall in 2:04.37, while Ipek Aydiner placed 16th with a 2:07.20. Easton Glandt delivered a strong swim in the 200 IM C-final, finishing 17th overall in 2:04.85.
- FGCU dominated the 50 free A-final, led by Russum's championship victory in 22.50. Leah Gentry-Tuney followed with a fourth-place finish in 22.96, while Burke added a sixth-place result in 23.24 to round out the championship heat for the Eagles.

The Eagles are back in action at the Rosen Aquatic Center for day two of the ASUN Championships on Thursday, Feb. 19. Events scheduled for day two include the 200 Free Relay, 1m Dive, 100 Fly, 400 IM, 200 Free, and 400 Medley Relay. Prelims begin at 10:00AM, followed by the finals at 6:00PM.
