Daughter of Esin and Osman... Has one sibling, Can... Chose FGCU because the team feels like family and the coaches truly believe in us, which helps push her to grow in and out of the pool... Her favorite sport moment was when her team won a very close relay, the excitement, the teamwork, and celebrating together made her realize how special it is to be part of something bigger than herself... One person she'd like to meet is Katie Ledecky, because she represents excellence in swimming and she’d love to learn how she stays motivated and consistent at the highest level... One thing most people don’t know about her is that she actually get nervous before every race, but she uses that energy to swim faster... Her career aspiration is to reach her full potential as a Division 1 swimmer, competing at the highest level, while also building the foundation for her future career after sports, she wants to take the discipline and teamwork she learns in the pool into everything she does.
