FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast men's soccer team returns home to host North Florida on Saturday night.
The Eagles enter the match looking to snap out of a six game winless streak after earning their first result in ASUN play with a 2-2 tie at Jacksonville.
FGCU has shown improvement in offensive creativity over the past two weeks, outshooting opponents in three of its last four games. However, closing out remains a focus as the Eagles look to turn strong starts into full-time results.
Salvador Martinez scored all three goals for FGCU against FAU and Jacksonville, earning ASUN Player of the Week honors. Martinez,
Caio Oliveira and
Pedro Arcoverde continue to drive the Eagles' offensive rhythm, combining for twelve goals and four assists this season. As the second half of conference play begins, every point is crucial for FGCU's postseason push.
FGCU and UNF are set to kick off at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
