Johnson competed in 22 games with the Green and Blue, averaging 0.5 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. She was a balanced scorer, netting a season-high two points in five separate games.

Johnson made eight starts over 17 appearances before missing the final 19 games due to an injury. Prior to that, she was averaging a career-high 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 19.2 minutes per contest. She averaged more rebounds per game than any guard on the team while increasing her scoring average for the third straight season. She opened the season with a 14-point effort against her future team, FGCU, on Nov. 11, and she scored a career-high 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting along with six rebounds and three steals at Hartford on Dec. 10. Following the season, she was selected to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic team.

Johnson grew into a full-time starter as a sophomore, averaging 4.6 points and 3.2 rebounds as a guard-forward combo. She made 28 starts over 34 appearances in 17.6 minutes per game while leading the team’s guards in rebounding, including a third-best overall finish on the team in offensive rebounds (57). She scored a season-high 12 points on 4-for-10 shooting while adding six rebounds and two assists in a road win over Northeastern on Dec. 9, and she had nine points and five rebounds (four offensive) against FGCU on Dec. 28. Following the season, she was selected to the MAAC All-Academic team.

Johnson appeared in 19 games off the bench as a freshman while averaging 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds per game over 5.3 minutes per contest. She led the Quinnipiac guards in field goal percentage, and she averaged the third most PPG per 40 minutes of play (14.4) among all bench players. She produced her first collegiate points against Army on Nov. 15 with four free throws and concluded the season by playing two minutes and handing out an assist in the NCAA Tournament against Oklahoma on March 21.

High School
Johnson had a successful Ohio high school career at Pickerington North under the direction of head coach Dave Butcher, who is one of the all-time winningest high school coaches. The 2014 graduate led the Panthers to a 13-8 record as a senior while being named District 11 BCA Honorable Mention and selected to play in the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Classic and the Jump25.com Central Ohio All-Star Game. As a junior, her team produced a 17-9 record behind her 12.1 points per game, and she earned Special Mention All-Central District recognition. Overall, she led Pickerington North to nearly 70 wins in her career.
