As A Junior (2014)
Deckert and Tillery took the mound for the FGCU baseball team (9-7) in a doubleheader on Saturday against the Manhattan Jaspers (1-9) and both brought their A-game to lead the Green and Blue to a pair of victories (13-3, 3-2), striking out a combined 18 batters along the way, both establishing single-game career highs (April 8) ... Deckert threw 5.0 innings versus FAMU, walking none and striking out seven. The junior would pick up his third win of the year as the Eagles were able to quickly erase the deficit and coast to the series-clinching victory (March 15) ... Took the ball and dueled with David Roseboom (USC Upstate) for six innings of scoreless baseball until Roseboom finally blinked in the seventh. Deckert would complete seven scoreless (March 22) ... Tallied 5.2 innings, gave up seven hits versus Jacksonville, struck out three and allowed just two runs to earn his fifth victory of season against just two losses (April 12) ... Took the mound for FGCU to make his 11th start of the year and his first during a mid-week game. The lefty came into the game versus USF carrying a 3.20 ERA which ranked seventh in the A-Sun with 56 strikeouts which ranked third. Deckert worked 2.0 innings of one-hit ball and would not end up factoring in the decision April 22) ... Worked through 3.0 innings and struck out three allowing just one run and three hits at FAU on Tuesday night. Deckert would pick up his sixth win in the process as the Eagles would go on to claim a 3-2 victory (May 1)
