Worked his way into the weekend rotation during his first season in Fort Myers … Appeared in five games, earning the start in two … Made his first start on the mound during the game against Kent State (Feb. 23) … Picked up his first win against SJU (March 7) after fanning four through 4.0 innings of relief … Struck out a season-high five batters against Georgetown (March 10) … Finished the year with a 3.31 ERA, 15 strikeouts, and a 1-2 record through 16.1 frames of work.
