Unanimously selected to the ASUN All-Freshmen Team … Appeared in all 55 games, starting 54 of them in his debut campaign with FGCU … Led the league with a .461 on-base percentage … Broke the program record with the most RBIs from a freshman (40) … His first collegiate hit was a two-RBI homer in the win over Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 16) … Scored a career-high three runs in both that game and the win over LIU Brooklyn (Feb. 23) … In that game, he cranked out three doubles, the second-most in a single game in FGCU history … Batted over .400 until the start of April, proving to be one of the freshmen in college baseball … Tallied his first career grand slam in the win over Quinnipiac (March 9) … Finished the series against the Bobcats with six hits and as many RBIs, earning ASUN Player of the Week honors for his effort … Walked off Rutgers in the bottom of the 11th inning with a home run (March 15) … Tallied 17 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games … Owned a 24-game streak of reaching base safely, as well as a nine-game hitting streak … Finished the season on an eight-game streak of reaching base safely … Finished the year slashing .324/.492/.461 … Added nine doubles, seven home runs and 88 total bases.
