SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Florida Gulf Coast University's women's golf team continues its fall slate this weekend at the Fighting Irish Classic, hosted by Notre Dame at Warren Golf Course.

FGCU is joined by a 14-team field that includes Ball State, Furman, High Point, Louisville, Morehead State, North Florida, Notre Dame, Purdue, Stonehill, Toledo, Wisconsin, Xavier and Youngstown State.

The two-day event runs Sept. 26-27, with tee times set for 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The Eagles will open round one paired with Xavier and Furman at the par-71, 6,062-yard layout.

Representing FGCU this weekend will be Charlene Lamb, Sydney Deal, Annie Yost, Gia Culler-Guerra and Sarah Hyten.

LAST TIME OUT:
The Eagles closed out the Lady Paladin Invitational in eighth place at Furman University Golf Course, posting an 8-over 296 in the final round to finish at 880 (+16) for the three days.

Lamb led the Eagles, finishing tied for 22nd at 218 (+2) after opening with a 2-under 70 in the first round. She tied for 20th in the field with 10 birdies. Lamb's performance earned her ASUN Golfer of the Week honors, the second of her career.

Hyten finished one shot back, tied for 24th at 219 (+3). She matched Lamb's opening 2-under 70 and her 10 birdies, and carded the Eagles' low final round, a 1-over 73 with six birdies. Yost finished tied for 30th at 222 (+6), and her 36 pars tied for sixth-most in the field. Deal finished tied for 38th at 224 (+8), highlighted by a 1-under 71 in the second round. Culler-Guerra closed with a 2-over 74 to finish tied for 46th at 227 (+11).
