MIAMI, Fla. - The Eagles earned a convincing 178-121 victory over Florida International on Saturday at the Doral Aquatic Center in Miami, Fla. The Eagles claimed victories in several events to secure the dual meet win.

- FGCU opened the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay, as the group of Izzy Ackley, Cassie Bauer, Libby Russum and Mia Burke touched first with a time of 1:40.57.
- Aislyn Barnett led a podium sweep for the Eagles in the 1000 freestyle, winning in 10:21.38. Lily Magda finished second (10:27.40) and Emmakate Zanoli placed third (10:42.95).
- Jasmin Kroll captured first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:51.33, while Nadia Helm added a second place finish in 1:53.75.
- Ackley earned a second place finish in the 100 backstroke, touching the wall in 56.36.
- Bauer continued the momentum with a win in the 100 breaststroke, touching in 1:03.25.
- Nori Hetyei won the 200 butterfly in 2:06.42, followed closely by Nastia Tichy in second at 2:07.34.
- Russum was victorious in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.23.
- Leah Gentry-Tuney secured the win in the 100 freestyle at 51.32.
- Bauer earned her second individual win of the day by taking first in the 200 backstroke in 2:02.17, while Ackley finished third in 2:02.59.
- Barnett returned to the top of the podium in the 200 breaststroke, winning in 2:19.39, with Ali Bendall following in second at 2:20.33.
- Lily Magda claimed first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:07.11, as Kroll and Zanoli finished second and third to give FGCU a sweep of the podium.
- In the 400 IM, Barnett placed second in 4:30.51, with Ipek Aydiner taking third at 4:34.10.
- The Eagles closed the swimming portion with a win in the 400 freestyle relay, as the team of Kroll, Gentry-Tuney, Russum and Helm touched first in 3:25.04.
- In diving, Alexandra Andueza led FGCU with second place finishes on both boards, scoring 258.08 on the 1-meter and 295.43 on the 3-meter.

FGCU will return to the FGCU Aquatic Center on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 31 at noon to face North Florida in its final meet before the ASUN Championships in Orlando. The Eagles will also honor five seniors prior to the meet as part of the weekend's events.
