FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Osprey Invite, scheduled to be hosted September 27 and 28 by North Florida, has been canceled due to inclement weather that could be in the area at time of competition.

The two-day meet was to feature host UNF, Georgia Southern, Rollins, South Carolina, and Howard in addition to the Eagles. The next meet for the Eagles is the FIU Classic, another two-day meet early in the season.

The Eagles competed last Friday at the Wings Up Classic. The meet featured sprint time trials in every stroke for 50 yards and the 100 IM. Cassie Bauer set four records with the meet records in total time (2:46.18), 50 breast (29.93) and 100 IM (58.01). The 100 IM time was the seventh fastest in FGCU history. Libby Russum set the 50 fly meet record (24.99) and swam the ninth fastest 100 IM (58.31). Izzy Ackley's 50 back (25.52) set the meet record while placing the tenth fastest time in program history.

The Green and Blue will return home on Oct. 12 for the Green and Blue Intersquad meet before hosting the Eagle Invitational on October 18-19. Attendance to all swim meets is free.
