FGCU Swimming and Diving finished third at the 2024 ASUN Swimming and Diving Championships in Knoxville, Tenn. off the backs of five All-ASUN performances and every relay finishing on the podium. The Eagles were 44 points clear of UNC Asheville for third place.
Jasmin Kroll earned medals six and seven of the weekend with a third place finish in the 100 free (49.42) and as the lead leg of the 400 free relay team which also placed third.
The 400 free relay team consisted of Kroll,
Mia Burke,
Libby Russum, and
Nadia Helm. The 400 free relay team was one of two on the night to have every swimmer split 50.75 or under.
In addition to Kroll in the 100 free, Burke and Helm swam in the B-Final of the event.
The 200 back saw
Emma Hixenbaugh qualify for the A-Final with a time of (2:00.16). She was joined in the finals by
Alicja Ulicka who swam in the B-Final.
Four Eagles qualified for the 200 breast finals.
Rebecca Winn (2:16.25) and
Karen Arngeirsdottir (2:18.82) qualified for the A-Final while
Jenna Gwinn and
Ella Smith qualified for the B-Final and dominated the race.
