Jasmin Kroll earned three medals, the second fastest program, ASUN, and conference meet time in the 200 free, and an NCAA B-Cut at day two of the ASUN Swimming and Diving Championships in Knoxville, Tenn. on Thursday.
Kroll started her historic night as the lead off leg of the 200 free relay team that included
Alexis Mishler,
Libby Russum, and
Mia Burke which earned the silver medal. Kroll then led wire-to-wire on the 200 free posting a time of 1:46.72. Her time is second best in FGCU and conference history behind FGCU alum Elise Hahn. After a break for diving, Kroll swam the freestyle leg of the 400 medley relay cementing the bronze for the Eagles.
Cameron Kuriger also earned a podium, and All-ASUN performance, in the 100 fly when she touched third with a time of 54.16.
Eagles diving proved dominant once again with all six divers qualifying for finals.
Marissa Santos qualified for the championship final, placing fifth with a score of 233.85.
Kroll was joined in the 200 free finals by
Emma Bjoernholdt,
Nadia Helm, and
Mia Burke who all swam in the B-Final.
Libby Russum joined Kuriger in the 100 fly A-Final placing fifth with a time of 54.73.
Sarah Zoellner swam in the B-Final of the 100 fly.
The 400 IM A-Final saw
Rebecca Winn placing eighth with a time of 4:30.16.
Lily Magda qualified for the B-Final in the event.
