Men's soccer to travel for key ASUN road trip

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University men's soccer will travel for two matches, the first against Central Arkansas and the second against Bellarmine, on Friday and Tuesday, respectively. The Eagles can still finish at any seed for the Atlantic Sun Conference men's soccer conference or not qualify as the seventh-ranked team.

The match on Friday against Central Arkansas features two teams tied on seven points in conference play. If one team wins this match, they will own the tiebreaker over the other. In the event of a draw, Central Arkansas currently owns the tiebreaker based on the result versus Stetson.

Following Friday's match, FGCU will travel to Louisville, Kentucky for a make up match against Bellarmine. The Knights have not won yet in conference play. If the Eagles win this match, regardless of the result against Central Arkansas, they will clinch a spot in the ASUN tournament.

The one and two seeds host two matches in the conference tournament on Nov 9 and 11 before the highest remaining seed hosts the championship on Nov 16.

The Green and Blue will return home for senior day against Queens on Nov 2. Tickets can eb purchased using the link above.
