FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving takes their first road trip of the calendar year when they travel to UNF on Friday and Georgia Southern on Saturday.
North Florida does not have divers leading to the meet being swimming only.
FGCU will look to continue to improve on the 16 season-best times the Eagles got against Miami and Colorado State with eyes on peaking at the ASUN Championships.
Sophomore
Libby Russum won the 100 fly in last weekend's meet while
Jenna Gwinn took second in the 100 breast and
Rebecca Winn finished third in the 200 breast. Eagles relays took second place in the only two relays competing, the 200 medley and 200 free.
Following this road trip, swimming and diving will compete in their final road dual meet of the year on Jan 20 against FIU before returning home for a two-day meet on Feb 2 and 3 against North Florida. FIU will bring its divers out on Feb 3 allowing diving to compete on senior day.
