FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University women's golf tees off the fall season Saturday at the Yale Invitational in New Haven, Connecticut.
Twelve teams will be tested by the Yale Golf Course, which is ranked No. 83 in the world by Golf Magazine and the No. 1 college course in America by Golfweek. Yale Golf Course has hosted a NCAA regional six times, dating back to 1991.
Columbia, Dartmouth, DePauw, Fairfield, FGCU, Harvard, Iowa, Quinnipiac, Little Rock, Penn, Williams College and Yale round out the participating programs taking part in the two-day tournament.
Thirty-six holes are scheduled for Saturday and the final round is set for Sunday. Live stats can be accessed though Golfstat.
FGCU will roll out four returners and one transfer this weekend. Posie Farrelly, Lousiane Gauthier, Amelie Alcantara, Leonie Wulfers and Grace Rigby-Walden make up the starting five for the Eagles.
