FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Gulf Coast University men's soccer will host the University of Central Arkansas Saturday at 7 p.m. in the home regular season finale for the Eagles.
This will be only the third meeting between the programs, as the Sugar Bears lead the series with a win and draw. The teams last met on Oct. 16 in Conway, Arkansas, with the game ending in a 2-2 tie.
The Eagles (3-5-4, 2-1-2 ASUN) are coming off a close 1-0 defeat against No. 23 FIU Tuesday at Pickering Field, while UCA (2-7-3, 1-2-2 ASUN) earned a 2-2 draw versus Stetson University in Conway last Saturday. UCA is currently in sixth place in league action while the Eagles are tied for second alongside Bellarmine University and Stetson.
Saturday's match will serve as Senior Night and all patrons are asked to arrive early as the festivities to honor the seniors will start at 6:40 p.m.
