FORT MYERS, Fla. – The FGCU softball continues ASUN action this weekend as the Eagles welcome Central Arkansas to Southwest Florida for three games. The series gets started with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. before playing a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Eagles opened the ASUN season last weekend against North Florida and went 1-2 against the Ospreys. Senior Reedy Davenport (St. Johns, Fla./Bartram Trail HS) hit a walk-off home run on Monday against UNF to snap the Ospreys' 13-game winning streak.

Senior Tayli Filla (Fort Myers, Fla./Bishop Verot HS/USF) is also having a solid year at the plate as she is hitting .310 with a two doubles, a triple, and a home run.

In the circle, junior Ally Hulme (Safety Harbor, Fla./Sickles HS/State College of Florida) is 6-6 with a 2.70 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 67.1 innings to lead the team.

Honoring our Past
Over the course of the season, the Eagles will welcome back back members from our first team back in 2003. This week two players from that team will return and throw out the first pitch.
