Named ASUN All-Academic and ASUN Second Team … Led the Green and Blue in 14 offensive categories this season: batting average (.374), slugging percentage (.763), on-base percentage (.450), OPS (1.213), hits (52), doubles (11), triples (2), home runs (13), RBIs (44) walks (17), total bases (106), runs (25), muli hit games (12) and muti RBI games (12) … Ranked fourth in the ASUN in highest batting average and fifth in total home runs … Ninth in the ASUN in RBIs … Slugging percentage ranks 6th all-time in FGCU single season records … Went 2-for-2 against No. 15 Clemson and 1-for-3 in an 6-4 upset win over No. 8 Texas … Also went a perfect 3-for-3 against No. 25 UCF, belting two homers … Recorded 10 milti-hit and 10 multi-RBIs games … Had a solo homer in a 5-2 win over Jacksonville State, helping to lift coach David Deiros to career win No. 700 at FGCU … Also produced a solo homer in a 3-2 upset win over #10 Florida in Gainesville … Finished 2-for-3 against the ranked Gators collecting two RBIs … Had a season-high of three hits and a season high of five RBIs against Kennesaw State … In the outfield, held a fielding percentage of .957 in 69 chances, making 66 putouts

Appeared in 36 games, starting 23 with eight in the outfield and 15 as the designated player… Hit her sixth home run of the season with a three-run blast at Syracuse [1] (5/1)… Racked up six hits and got a hit in every game of the series against Georgia Tech (4/16-18), including two home runs and a double… Went 2 for 3 at No. 12/14 Duke (4/4)… Posted a multi-hit game at Louisville (3/28), hitting a two-run home one and earning a single, while reaching base again on a walk… Crushed her second homer of the year in Game 1 vs. Radford (3/17)… Hit her second career home run and contributed to the Hokies' school record eight home runs in Game 4 of the NC State series (3/14).

Graduated from Turner Ashby HS where she played for softball Coach Clint Curry … Four-time All-District … Four-time All-region … Four-time All-State … Batted .479 as a senior with 37 hits, 33 Runs, 31 RBIs, 7 doubles, and eight home runs … Hit .455 as a junior with 33 RBIs, 10 doubles and five home runs … Played travel ball for the Wagner’s 3N2 under Coach Reese Kiple … Played on the Junior Olympic All-Star team … Also ran track and holds the school record in the 55 meter dash.

Cana Mackenzie Davis was born February 14, 1999, in Harrisonburg, Virginia … The daughter of Michael and Mary Davis … Has a younger brother, Peyton … Her mother Mary, played volleyball at Marymount University...  Brother Peyton plays baseball at Wake Tech...  Majoring in Public Relations...  Once hit a home run that hit a moving car while at Virginia Tech...  Has a dog Harper who has her own Instagram page (harperthehokie) who Davis rescued to be her rehab buddy after her ACL Surgery in 2020.
