FORT MYERS, Fla. – Coming off its ninth CCSA Championship in a span of ten years and seventh straight NCAA Championship appearance, the FGCU swimming and diving team and head coach
Dave Rollins have announced a trio of summer technique camp dates and a training camp to be held during June.
The three technique camps will begin with the first session at the FGCU Aquatics Center and surrounding campus will take from place June 3-7. The second session of Eagle Swim Camps is scheduled for June 10-14, while the third and final session will occur from June 17-21.Â
New this year is the addition of the Elite Training Camp which will take place from June 7-10.
Swimmers between the ages of 8 and 18 who are interested in attending one of the three camps have the option of doing so as an overnight or day camper. Registration for overnight campers, who will stay in the dorms on campus, is $595. Check-in for overnighters is at 5 p.m. Sunday and check-out is at 12 p.m. Thursday. Day camper rate is $450. They are asked to be dropped off at 7:30 a.m. each morning and picked up at 5 p.m. each afternoon (excluding Thursday, which is a 12pm pick up). Group rates are available for groups of 6 or more who sign up together.
Eagle Swim Camps are led by FGCU head coach and two-time CCSA Coach of the Year
Dave Rollins. Rollins has been coaching for over 10 years and has coached a 2016 Olympian, NCAA All-Americans as well as numerous collegiate conference champions and high school All-Americans. He was a NCAA Champion, nine-time NCAA All-American and recently was inducted into the University of Arizona Athletics Hall of Fame.
Rollins will be joined by members of the nine-time CCSA Champion FGCU swimming team and coaching staff. Camps will be focused on teaching, refining and reinforcing elite swimming techniques. Campers of all skill levels will walk away with a deeper understanding of their strokes as well as their starts, turns and finishes.
Each camper will also receive a free t-shirt, have meals provided while on campus and have a once in a lifetime experience interacting with elite athletes. Additional camp features include a Q&A session and photo opportunity with an Olympic Medalist, a Rockwall climbing activity and other daily activities the campers will enjoy.

 HEAD COACH DAVE ROLLINS
Second-year head coach Dave Rollins became the program's second head coach in program history on Sept. 1, 2016. In his second season, Rollins has guided FGCU to back-to-back CCSA titles, as well as the program's fourth-straight championship and ninth in 10 seasons. In addition, he has been awarded CCSA Coach of the Year in each of his two seasons at the helm. Most recently the associate head men's swimming coach at The Ohio State University, Rollins brings 10 years of coaching experience at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. A standout collegiate athlete in his own right, Rollins was a nine-time NCAA All-American and national champion as a member of the University of Arizona swimming & diving team from 2002-06.
