BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 29 FGCU swimming and diving team will hit the road for the first time this spring as they head to Boca Raton, Fla., for a double-dual meet with in-state rivals Miami and FAU on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the FAU Aquatics Center.
Â
The Green and Blue were originally scheduled for a dual meet versus Miami on Friday, but a malfunction with the Hurricanes' pool caused a change of schedule. Saturday's double-dual meet will now take the place of FGCU's originally-scheduled season finale at FAU on Friday, Jan. 29.
Â
"There was a slight bump in the road, but we're looking forward to another test against two very good teams," said FGCU head coach
Neal Studd. "We've been looking good overall, so I'm excited to see what we can do."
