Pickering finished her career as one of the program’s most efficient hitters and dominant blockers all-time. She ascended up several single season and career record lists in a record-breaking senior campaign. In ASUN regular season play, for example, she hit .452, which is the best in program history and her .399 career hitting percentage is the best in ASUN history.

Pickering led the nation in hitting percentage most of the season before finishing with 222 kills at a .419 clip while adding 128 blocks (12 solo) and 43 digs in her senior campaign. In doing so, she earned was named First Team All-ASUN and AVCA First Team All-Region. Her .399 career hitting percentage ranks second all-time in the program's history, while her percentage in 2018 ranks as the best all-time. Her 116 block assists and 128 total blocks would have been new program single-season records had it not been for teammate Daniele Serrano’s 141 and 162, respectively. The right side hitter did all this despite having over from a middle blocker position following the season-ending injury to Carroll just a few matches into the season.

In her first year with the Green and Blue, Pickering saw action in 22 matches, which included 52 sets. During that time, she averaged 0.92 blocks per set, just behind Kaitlan Krivdo (0.93) for the team-high. She had a season-high eight blocks against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 22, and she had seven against Wofford and Davidson on Sept. 8-9. Her four solo blocks vs Wofford on Sept. 8 is tied for sixth most in a match in program history, and her seven block assists vs Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 22 is tied for 18th best in a match. The Bethune-Cookman output is also tied for seventh most in a three-set match. Her seven blocks vs Davidson on Sept. 9 is tied for 14th best among five-set matches, and her seven blocks vs Wofford on Sept. 8 is tied for 14th best in a three-set match. Among ASUN players, she finished sixth in blocks per set, 24th in total blocks, 30th in block assists and 11th in solo blocks. Overall, she etched her name into the top 20 all-time in program history for solo and total blocks.
