HIGH SCHOOL
As a three-year varsity starter for Windermere High School, Burry accumulated more than 600 career digs and helped guide the Wolverines to the 7A State Finals in 2021, posting a 27-4 record ... Last season as senior, Burry tallied 242 digs and was dominant from the service line with 42 aces ... Seventh-seeded Windermere upset second-seeded Olympia in a five-set battle before falling in the next round in the regional semifinals ... Burry was named to the All-Metro Team, to the USVA All-Tournament Team, an AAU Nationals All-Star, and appeared on Vballrecruiter.com's watch list ... In the classroom, Burry is a National Honor Society member, and plans to major in construction management at FGCU.
