Biography
As A Sophomore (2018-19)
Placed first overall in five different relay teams for the Eagles during regular season, two at the CCSA Championships… recorded a first place finish in the 100 free (51.75) against FAU/Princeton (Nov. 2)… three time finalist at the conference meet, 100 free (49.80), 50 free (fifth, 23.13) and 200 free (seventh, 1:51.30).
As a Freshman (2017-18)
Two-time CCSA Swimmer of the Week... Earned her best times at the CCSA Championship with 22.91 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, 49.71 seconds in the 100- yard freestyle, and 1.51.32 in the 200-yard freestyle... Achieved two NCAA 'B' standard times in the 50 and 100 freestyle... Secured 1st-place against #15 Florida...Captured 1st-place in the 50 and 100-free against FIU... Swam for her home country of New Zealand at the Oceania Games in Papua New Guinea... won her first New Zealand open National title in the 50m freestyle.
Prior to FGCU
Attended Waiopehu College … competed for Raptors swimming … named sportsperson of the year in 2014, 2015 and 2016 … won the gold medal and set the Wellington Regional record in the 50 free with a converted time of 23.33 seconds at the 2016 New Zealand Short Course Championships ... also finished in third in the 100 free, sixth in the 200 free, ninth in the 50 back and seventh in the 100 back at the event ... placed fourth in the 50 free and 13th in the 100 free at the 2016 New Zealand Open Championships, which serves as the nation’s Olympic Trials … earned academic honors after finishing top of her class in 2014 and 2015 … finished runner up academically in 2016.
