Averaged 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while getting physically stronger and displaying deft shooting touch … connected at a 63.7-percent clip from the floor and 72.6 percent from the free throw line … scored a season-high 23 points on 8-13 from the floor and 7-8 from the free throw line at Rock Valley (Nov. 18) … six double-figure rebounding games, including a season-best 15 versus Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (Nov. 12) … double-figure points in 14 games … played in 28 games and made 23 starts … helped lead his team to a 29-5 record and advanced to the NJCAA National Basketball Championship.

Saw action in six games early in the season before being shut down for the remainder of the year because his knee wasn’t responding after an ACL tear late in his senior year of high school ... was awarded a redshirt season due to the medical hardship … scored his first career basket against Chicago State ... also had a career-high two rebounds against the Cougars.

All-time leading scorer and rebounder at Clinton High School with better than 1,100 points and nearly 900 rebounds … was the state’s top-ranked player by Prep Hoops Iowa as a senior … that year he averaged 16.7 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game and garnered plenty of interest from Power-5 schools … received Second Team Class 4A All-State honors in 2015 … averaged a double-double for his entire four-year high school career at 13.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game … bettered his rebounding averages each year, from 8.2 as a freshman to 9.9 as a sophomore and 10.8 as a junior … he nearly did the same with his scoring numbers as well, beginning with 8.6 as a freshman before moving to 11 as a sophomore and then jumping to 17.2 during his junior year.
