FORT MYERS, Fla.- It's a battle of the Sunshine State's West Coast and East Coast on Sunday at Pickering Field in Fort Myers as the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles continue a five-game home stand as they take on the Florida Atlantic Owls in a 1 p.m. kick off.

The Eagles enter the battle looking to extend upon a three game point streak after road wins over Southern and LSU and a draw at home last time out against FIU. FGCU has gotten their offense going during the stretch, netting an ASUN high nine goals in their last three outings.

Kaitlin Gabelman has scored in three straight games for the Eagles and currently leads the ASUN in goals scored while Keira Morgan's three assists, including a pair to Gabelman, it tied for the top spot in the ASUN. Sarah Greiner has been doing more than anchoring the back line for the Eagles, also getting off 17 shots which is six more than any other player in the conference.

Like the Eagles, FAU has faced a tough early season slate, squaring off with the likes of #3 Florida State and #20 Florida in their first six contests. The Owls are coming off of a dominating 3-0 win over Jacksonville on Thursday which saw them improve to 2-2-2 in the early going. FAU's Hailey Santiago comes into Sunday's game the hottest player in the country having scored seven goals in the Owls last three games including putting up hat tricks against both Howard and Jacksonville.

Surprisingly Sunday marks just the sixth all-time matchup between the Eagles and Owls with FGCU holding a 3-1-1 advantage. Last season FGCU came from a goal down with a pair of early second half goals to come away with a 2-1 victory. Historically goals have been tough to come by in the series as through five games, the teams have only combined for a total of six goals.

Kick off is set for 1 p.m. at Pickering Field with the game set to stream on ESPN+.
