FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast men's soccer will play at home for the first time in 2026 against North Florida (3-2-1, 1-0-0) at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Pickering Field.
The Eagles enter at 2-3-0, 0-1-0, and boast the program's first win over an ACC opponent after defeating Virginia 2-1 in Charlottesville.
Michael Ndiweni delivered the game-winner in the 86th minute over the Cavaliers.
On the season, the offense has been key for FGCU.
Aron Martinez,
Brooks Beeman and
Emerson LaOrden each have a pair of goals; only Jacksonville also has three players who have scored multiple goals among other ASUN squads.
Geraldo Neto has found the back of the net twice for North Florida, which enters on a three game win streak. The Ospreys defeated USF 1-0 and Jacksonville 2-1 on the road before knocking off Coastal Carolina at home, 2-0, on Wednesday. UNF has scored seven goals on the campaign from six different players. In goal, Luciano Natoli has allowed six goals across four games; but Iu Pentinat started in the win over Coastal Carolina.
The Eagles lead the all-time series 15-4-7 and are 7-2-4 at Pickering Field. FGCU took down the Ospreys 1-0 on Oct. 18, 2025, in the most recent matchup in Fort Myers behind an 88th minute goal from
Salvador Martinez.
