FORT MYERS, Fla. – Nicole De Oliveira became the first FGCU beach volleyball student-athlete to earn multiple CSC Academic All-District honors, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.
De Oliveira headlined beach volleyball's four selections on the CSC Academic All-District team, including sophomore
Erin Miller, junior
Andrea Dietz and junior
Emma Soncrant. All four have a GPA over 3.7 with majors in Health Science (De Oliveira and Dietz), finance (Miller) and psychology (Soncrant).
Previously, De Oliveira was tabbed to the CSC women's at-large Academic All-District team in 2024-25, alongside second team All-America selection
Jaci Carpenter and
Kaitlyn Luebbers. The trio represented the first FGCU beach volleyball players selected to an Academic All-District team.
On the sand, De Oliveira earned her third consecutive First Team All-ASUN selection in 2026. She joined Kacie Johnson as the only Eagles in program history to earn three selections to the First Team All-ASUN. She was named to the first team after an 18-13 regular season where she played primarily at the No. 2 pair.Â
De Oliveira played exclusively with fellow CSC Academic All-District honoree and Second Team All-ASUN selection
Erin Miller. The duo earned a pair of ranked wins over No. 14 Hawai'i, as a part of the Eagles' team upset of the Rainbow Warriors, and took a three set pair win over No. 17 North Florida at the FAU Capri Classic. De Oliveira and Miller contributed to a season-opening 3-2 win over (RV) South Carolina.
Dietz went 18-8 with
Sydney Majick and tallied three ranked wins, over No. 17 North Florida, No. 15 Stetson and No. 14 Hawai'i. The pair took a set from No. 6 TCU in Fort Worth as the only Eagles to notch a set win over the defending national champions at TCU's home tournament. That match against the Horned Frogs went unfinished due to inclement weather. They added a pair win over (RV) Arizona at the Wildcats' home tournament and aided in FGCU's season opening win over (RV) South Carolina.
Soncrant posted a 19-15 record in 2026 playing on courts 3, 4 and 5. She began the season by clinching the Eagles' upset of South Carolina. Soncrant collected a ranked win over North Florida on opening weekend with
Elaina Millaway. In April, she aided in the team upset of No. 14 Hawai'i with
Vanessa Moriarty and the duo took down (RV) Arizona on court 5.
