FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University men's golf will make its third NCAA Men's Golf Championship appearance as a team after earning an automatic bid following its ASUN Championship victory. The Eagles are seeded 10th in the Marana Regional, hosted by Arizona at Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Arizona, May 18-20, as announced Wednesday.

Andrew Danna said. "This program has worked extremely hard to get here, and I couldn't be more proud of these young men. We are looking forward to competing on the national stage and seeing what we can accomplish in Marana."
Oklahoma State is the No. 1 seed in the Marana Regional, with the full seeding available below. The top five teams and lowest individual not on an advancing team from each of the six regionals will qualify for the Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 29 through June 3, 30 teams and six individuals in all.
The Eagles entered selection Wednesday ranked No. 57 nationally with a 121-41-3 record and a 282.2 scoring average across 35 rounds. FGCU won three team championships, the West Bay Collegiate Invitational, the Johnnie-O at Sea Island and the ASUN Championship, and posted three other top-three team finishes on the year.
The Eagles were equally impressive individually, producing three champions across the season.
Sebastian Gamboa claimed titles at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational and the ASUN Championship, while
Sacha Ruiz won the Giles-Spratley Collegiate. The two, along with
Nolan Harper, were each named to the All-ASUN First Team and represent three of the five highest-ranked golfers in the conference.
Harper leads the ASUN as the No. 170-ranked player in the country, averaging 70.2 strokes per round across 11 tournaments. Gamboa is ranked No. 207 nationally and averages 70.6 per round across 12 tournaments, while Ruiz checks in at No. 237 with a 70.5 average over 12 tournaments.
Danna, who earned ASUN Men's Golf Coach of the Year honors for the second consecutive year, has guided the program to each of its three NCAA Championship team appearances. The Eagles previously competed in the 2022 Columbus Regional and the 2025 Amherst Regional. FGCU has also sent individual representatives to the championship in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2021 and 2024.
