"The Blue Monster is about as demanding a test as you'll find in college golf, and we battled a really strong group of teams all week," head coach
Lee McCoy said. "Christian played some fantastic golf to put himself in contention, and Jay showed a lot of maturity for a freshman. We made plenty of birdies over the three days, but the big numbers hurt us today. That's something we can clean up, and this group will learn a lot from competing on a course like this."
