De Oliveira earns third consecutive First Team All-ASUN selection

Five Eagles earn postseason All-ASUN, All-Academic honors

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Nicole De Oliveira earned her third consecutive First Team All-ASUN selection to highlight a quintet of postseason all-conference awards for Florida Gulf Coast, the conference announced Tuesday.

Erin Miller, Andrea Dietz and Sydney Majick all received Second Team All-ASUN nods, and Vanessa Moriarty extended a ten year streak of an Eagle making the ASUN All-Freshman team.

Continuing the postseason honors, De Oliveira, Miller, Dietz, Kristina Gluc and Emma Soncrant were all named to the ASUN All-Academic team. The five Eagles on the All-Academic team is the most in a season in program history, and all five received their first ASUN All-Academic selection in 2026.

"Earning an all conference honor is a tremendous honor," head coach Chris Sweat said. "With as many elite beach players as we have in the ASUN, being a part of this list is something we are very proud of. All of these athletes have shown that they can compete with the best and I'm very thankful to have had a team around them this year pushing them to excellence."

De Oliveira joined Kacie Johnson as the only Eagles in program history to earn three selections to the First Team All-ASUN. She was named to the first team after an 18-13 regular season where she played primarily at the No. 2 pair. De Oliveira played exclusively with Second Team All-ASUN selection Erin Miller, who notched her first all-conference award.

The duo earned a pair of ranked wins over No. 14 Hawai'i, as a part of the Eagles' team upset of the Rainbow Warriors, and took a three set pair win over No. 17 North Florida at the FAU Capri Classic. De Oliveira and Miller contributed to a season-opening 3-2 win over (RV) South Carolina.

Dietz and Majick played together for the majority of the season en route to their Second Team All-ASUN selections, both of which were their first career postseason honors. The duo went 18-8 together and tallied three ranked wins, over No. 17 North Florida, No. 15 Stetson and No. 14 Hawai'i. Dietz and Majick took a set from No. 6 TCU in Fort Worth as the only Eagles to notch a set win over the defending national champions at TCU's home tournament. That match against the Horned Frogs went unfinished due to inclement weather. They added a pair win over (RV) Arizona at the Wildcats' home tournament and aided in FGCU's season opening win over (RV) South Carolina.

Moriarty enters the ASUN Championship at 14-13. The freshman continued FGCU's streak of having a student-athlete on the All-Freshman team by recording a pair of ranked wins, over No. 14 Hawai'i with Emma Soncrant as a part of the team upset, and over No. 14 Stetson with Kristina Gluc. Moriarty also knocked off (RV) Arizona with Soncrant.

Next, FGCU opens the 2026 ASUN Championship against No. 6 seed Eastern Kentucky at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22.
