FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Atlantic Sun Conference and Florida Gulf Coast University men's basketball have jointly announced the 2025-26 conference slate. The quest for the program's fourth ASUN tournament championship starts Jan. 1 at Central Arkansas.
For the full conference schedule, visit the official FGCU men's basketball schedule page.
The ASUN conference schedule consists of an 18-game slate, which includes nine home games and nine road contests. The home opener for the Eagles is on Jan. 8, 2026 against Austin Peay, followed by a highly anticipated matchup with the 2025 ASUN Tournament Champions, Lipscomb, just two days later.
FGCU will continue a four game homestand with two more home games against Queens and West Georgia on Jan. 15 and 17, 2026, respectively, before wrapping up the home January slate against North Alabama on Jan. 29. February sees another four-game homestand for the Eagles hosting UNF (Feb. 12), Stetson (Feb. 14), Jacksonville (Feb. 19) and Central Arkansas (Feb. 21).
The first round of the ASUN Tournament commences Wednesday, March 4, which will now be held in Jacksonville, Florida, at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The Championship is set for Sunday, March 8, 2026.
The Eagles played to a 13-5 conference record last season, the most conference victories since the 2012-13 Dunk City run. FGCU was a three-seed in the ASUN Tournament, the highest in a non-divisional format since 2016-17.
In addition to the homestand, the Eagles will play nine road ASUN games including a pair of road weekends in the first month of the conference season before finishing the conference schedule on the road.
