Baseball releases highly competitive 2026 schedule

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University will host 12 consecutive games at Swanson Stadium to start the season and highlight the 2026 baseball schedule. The schedule was released today by head coach Dave Tollett.

"The schedule features an exciting blend of regional competition and national matchups, promising both challenge and opportunity for the Eagles," said head coach Dave Tollett. "The schedule also includes six Power Four opponents, along with in-state rivals USF, UCF, FIU, and FAU, ensuring one of the most competitive and entertaining schedules in program history."

The Eagles begin the year by welcoming the 2025 Summit League champions, North Dakota State University Feb.13-16. FGCU will then host Minnesota for one game on February 18.

Stone Hill College will visit Palms City for three-game set Feb. 20-22. Indiana State will be Green & Blue's next opponent on Feb. 24 and 25.

The Eagles next welcome Boston College on Feb. 28 through March 1 before the homestand to start the season wraps up with a single game against UCF on March 4.

FGCU will hit the road to face 2025 SWAC champions Bethune Cookman for a three-game series from March 6-8 before visiting state rivals, FAU for one game on March 17.

FGCU returns home to open Atlantic Sun Conference against Queens March 13-15 before heading to Boca Raton to battle FAU on March 17. The Green & Blue jumps back into league action March 20-22 at North Florida.

The Eagles return home for one match against South Florida on March 24 before jumping back into ASUN action by hosting Stetson for three games from March 27-29. The Green & Blue will then make the commute to Miami Florida to take on University of Miami on March 31.

The Eagles start the month of April with a road trip at West Georgia from April 2-4 and will then head to USF for their second match up for the season versus the Bulls on April 7. FGCU will then host

Jacksonville on April 10-12 before battling the Owls for the second time for the season at home on April 28.

The Green & Blue will then hit the road for DeLand to play three games against Stetson from May 1 through the 3rd before heading to FIU for one game on May 6. The Eagles will play its final home regular season series by welcoming West Georgia May 8-10. FAU returns to Fort Myers for one game on May 12.

The Eagles will end the regular at Jacksonville from May 14-16. The ASUN Championship will take place May 19-24 in DeLand on the campus of Stetson.
