FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University's men's golf team will travel to Lahaina, Hawaii to compete in Hawaii's Ka'anapali Classic on Oct. 27-29.

For the Ka'anapali Classic, the Eagles will send out Nolan Harper, Sacha Ruiz, Tom Scullion, Sebastian Gamboa, and Brett Moore, with Christian Figueredo, Brody Stevenson, and Sam Baker participating as individuals.

At the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational, the Eagles earned a runner-up team finish with a score of 837 (-27). Leading the way was Gamboa, who captured his first collegiate individual championship with a three-round score of 202 (-14), highlighted by seven birdies in both the opening and closing rounds and a tournament total of 18 birdies, second-most in the field. Scullion joined him in the top 10, tying for eighth at 207 (-9) after rounds of 70, 67, and 70, fueled by seven birdies in the second round. Moore tied for 24th at 212 (-4), closing strong with four birdies in the final round, while Ruiz finished tied for 47th at even-par (216), posting a strong 69 (-3) in round two with six birdies. Stevenson rounded out the lineup, finishing 82nd at 12-over (228).

Harper, Figueredo, and Baker last competed at the West Bay Collegiate Invitational, in which the Eagles secured the team championship. Harper finished at even-par (216) to tie for 34th, boosted by a team-leading eight birdies in his second round. Figueredo tied for 26th at 2-under (214) after opening with a 68, and Baker finished in a tie for 57th at 9-over (225).

FGCU will go up against a loaded field at the Ka'anapali Classic which features Boise State, Colorado, CSUN, East Tennessee State, Georgia, Gonzaga, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, North Florida, Oklahoma, Sacramento State, San Jose State, Southern Illinois, TCU, UConn, UC Irvine and Wyoming.

After the conclusion of the tournament, the Eagles will go on a break from competition until the calendar changes to 2026.
