FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University men's tennis will travel to Orlando, Florida to play at the USTA National Campus on Friday and Saturday against UCF and Southern Miss. The UCF match starts at 10 a.m. and the Southern Miss match starts at 3 p.m.

The Eagles are coming off an 0-3 weekend where they narrowly missed out on beating Alabama State in a 4-3 decision. The Eagles battled tough against No. 9 Florida State and Georgia Southern who both have ranked singles players and doubles pairs on their rosters.

FGCU is in the midst of a large season-opening road stretch where they play eight matches in a month before a home double header against Auburn followed by three more road matches to round out February. They will then remain home for much of February with seven consecutive home matches.
