As a Senior (2021-22)
Took home the silver as part of the 800 free relay at the CCSA Championships...  Finished 16th in the 100 free and 14th in the 200 free at CCSAs...  Placed third in the 100 free and the 100 back against UNF (Feb. 4-5)...  Won the 200 free (1:51.94) at the Eagle Invitational (Nov. 18-20) while finishing seventh in the 200 back.
  
As a Junior (2020-21)
Finished fifth in the 200y free and ninth in the 100y free at the CCSA Championships...  Also qualified for the 'B' Final in the 100y back, finishing 11th...  Won the 200y free at UNF (Jan. 16)...  Finished second in the 100y back against Miami (Jan. 13)...  Swam in four events at the Eagle Invitational, highlighted by a third-place finish in the 100y free.

As a Sophomore (2019-20)
Competed for the Eagles in the second half of the season – following the winter break – after transferring in from Arizona State … Advanced to the ‘A’ Final in each individual event that she competed in … Placed a meet-high fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle, where she swam a season-best 1:50.49 … Her time of 56.18 in the 100-yard backstroke was good for fifth place overall … Earned a seventh-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke (2:02.64) … Also swam for the 400-yard freestyle relay team, which finished second overall.

Transferred to FGCU after one season at Arizona State.

High School
Was a two-time team captain in high school and earned four varsity letters ... State Champion in the 100FR (SCY) in 2016 and team state champion in 2015 ... Voted KC Swim Performance of the Year in 2016 and was a First-Team All-State from 2015-17 ... Excelled in the classroom as well, as she was a part of the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, earned ... Principal's Honor Roll and was a Scholar Athlete ... Held school records in the 50FR SCY (23.67 in 2017), 100FR SCY (51.30 in 2017) and 100BK (59.61 in 2017).

Personal
Daughter of Alan and Michele Merriman ... Chose FGCU FGCU because the team made her feel included and part of the family before I had even gotten here ... Also chose FGCU for the pre-physical therapy program ... Favorite sport memories are of  hosting children's swim clinics with her high school team ... Would like to meet J.K. Rowling because she loves the Harry Potter books and they share the same birthday ... Favorite food is popcorn ... Majoring in exercise science, with hopes of becoming a phsyical therapist.
