Ran a time of 26:08.1 at the highly competitive Crimson Classic.

Freshman: 2023
Placed 22nd at the UCF Invitational with a time of 16:38.7, ran 26:28.93 at the North Alabama Showcase. Produced a 26:47.9 showing at the FSU Invite.  Finished 11th with a time of 26:59.5 at the USF Invitational. Had a time of 34:42.10  at the NCAA South Regionals.

Before College:
Speruta ran his career best time in the 5K (16:38.0) during the 2021 FHSAA 3A State Cross Country Championship after placing 10^th at the regional meet ... Was a member of The News-Press 2021 All-Area Cross Country Team ... In track, logged personal-best marks of 9:46.0 in the 3,200 meters and a 16:03 in the road 5K ... Was the 3,200 meter runner-up which helped Ida Baker win the regional title.

Personal:
Born August 24, 2004 ... Son of Anthony and Shirley Speruta ... Has two siblings, Sarah and Joseph ... Intends to major in exercise science ... Says he chose FGCU due to the coaches, the team, and the campus.
