Nearly averaged a double-double for JUCO Broward with 13.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game ... started 29 games for the Seahawks and led them in field-goal percentage (54.7), offensive rebounds (121), total rebounds (275) and blocks (48) ... finished the year ranking 10th in the nation by grabbing 4.2 offensive rebounds per contest ... selected as the NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week in January after averaging 27.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals to help Broward to a pair of conference wins ... in those victories, he scored 31 and 24 points, respectively, while shooting 10-15 from the floor and 11-14 from the free-throw line in the first game and 11-17 in the second contest ... in Broward’s 12 conference games, he bettered his season averages as he netted 14.7 points per game and also connected at a better rate from the floor as he shot a gaudy 59.7 percent ... helped lead Broward – which is located in Fort Lauderdale – to a 22-8 record and a ranking as high as No. 3 in the NJCAA Region 8 Poll.

Attended powerhouse St. Benedict’s Prep in New Jersey where he graduated in 2013 and was one of an incredible six players on the 2012-13 team who signed with D-I teams, including former Syracuse standout and current Milwaukee Bucks guard Tyler Ennis ... FGCU head coach Joe Dooley also attended St. Benedict's.
