FORT MYERS, Fla. – The teams are practicing and the schedules have been announced, but basketball season for FGCU fans will really begin on Oct. 22 when FGCU Athletics hosts Fan Fest at Sugarshack Downtown. Eagles fans will have a chance to meet coaches and players and those who RSVP will have access to free food and drink at the event.

The event is set for Thursday, Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m. with reserved seating to go along with free food and drink, while the program begins at 6:15 p.m. Eagles fans will have the opportunity to win giveaways and prizes, and are encouraged to stick around after the event with live music and entertainment beginning at 7 p.m.

Both the FGCU men's basketball and women's basketball teams recently announced their full 2026-27 schedules. The teams open their respective seasons on the road with the men at UCF (Nov. 2) and the women at Indiana (Nov. 3). They will also have back-to-back home openers on Nov. 6 (men's team) and Nov. 7 (women's).

With the schedule announcements came the release of two great Mini Plans for Eagles fans with a four-game Flex Plan (starting at $49 per ticket) and a "Sixth Man" Flex Plan (starting at $71 per ticket). With each plan, fans of the Green & Blue can choose any four or six games available for plenty of savings and excitement. Don't want to limit yourself to that?
