FGCU Athletics unveils court partnership with NCH

On-court visual part of larger partnership

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics unveiled the newest addition at Alico Arena on Tuesday with the reveal of Naples Comprehensive Health's (NCH) logo on the basketball court.

The addition of the NCH logo is part of the larger landmark partnership originally announced on June 18 between the two entities. Playfly Sports coordinated the new arrangement.

FGCU Director of Athletics Brian Barrio welcomed representatives from NCH and Playfly Sports this week to unveil the NCH logo on the court.

"There is no partnership more critical to FGCU student-athletes than our sports medicine partnership with NCH," said Barrio. "The visible presence of that partnership on our home court at Alico Arena will serve as a constant reminder of the deep connection between FGCU Athletics and NCH, and the vital role that NCH personnel and expertise play in the Eagles' success. We are thrilled to have NCH in our corner as we compete for championships on the regional and national stage."

Eagles fans will get their first look at the court on Friday, Nov. 6 when the men's basketball team hosts New College of Florida in their home opener, with the women's home opener coming on Saturday, Nov. 7 against Arkansas State.
