BASKETBALL GAME PROMOTIONS: MEN | WOMEN
FORT MYERS, Fla. – With the basketball season just a week away, Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics announced the game promotions for all 30 home men's and women's basketball games for the upcoming season, featuring great deals, giveaways and events fans will not want to miss.
Both the men's and women's teams have 15 home games at Alico Arena this season, not including the women's team hosting Coconut Hoops. More information on game promotions for FGCU

Homecoming will be the weekend of Feb. 6, 2027 when FGCU hosts Bellarmine (women's basketball) and Stetson (men's basketball) in an ASUN Doubleheader. FGCU is also continuing its "239 Night" promotion from the fall, where fans can get $2 popcorns, $3 beers and $9 tickets when the women host Stetson on Jan. 9 and the men host Lipscomb on Feb. 11. That men's date will also be the men's Eagles Club Appreciation Game.
Both teams open their home season with the Hometown Home Openers and will take part in post-game poster signings. The men's team opens their home slate on Friday, Nov. 6, while the women's home opener is set for Saturday, Nov. 7.
Eagles fans will want to get their teddy bears now as the Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Dec. 16 when the women's team hosts George Mason. Shoe donations can be saved for our Laces of Love Shoe Drive, set for the women's Jan. 16 game against West Florida, which will also be the women's Eagles Club Appreciation Game.
Each team will also pitch in efforts to raise awareness for those fighting cancer. The men's team's annual Coaches vs. Cancer Night is set for Jan. 21 against West Florida, while the women's Play4Kay Night is set for Feb. 4 against Lipscomb. FGCU's annual American Heart Association (AHA) Night will take place during an ASUN Doubleheader on Thursday, Feb. 25 when the men's and women's teams both host North Florida.
