FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles will hit the court four times this fall with a pair of tournaments right in their backyard in their fall 2026 schedule announced by head coach
Josh Molino Tuesday.
The Eagles open the fall season the first weekend of October when they head to Orlando for the Florida Bedford Cup. The event features the best the Sunshine State has to offer with the Eagles going head to head against ASUN foes as well as Florida State, Miami, and UCF competitors.
Jonathan Baron and
Tanner Povey teamed up to make a run to the doubles championship match a season ago while
Hugo Magnusson led the Eagles singles players, advancing to the semifinals.
Two weeks later the Eagles will travel to Atlanta to take part in the ITA Southeast Regional where individuals will compete for a ticket to the ITA Sectional Championships in Gainesville, Fla. in early November.
The slate is highlighted by a pair of events in Southwest Florida, first the Pelican Bay Collegiate Invite in Naples to close out the month of October and kick start November. That event will see the Eagles take on competitors from UNC Greensboro and seven-time Division II National Champion Barry University.
The Eagles will close out their fall season with the Bonita Bay Collegiate Open where they will compete November 6-8 against Boston College, Memphis, and Army.
The Eagles have high expectations for the 2026-2027 season as they bring back eight key contributors to the mix including four of their top six singles players and their top two doubles pairs from a year ago.
