JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast softball secured the 5 seed in the Atlantic Sun Championship, the conference announced Sunday.

FGCU took the 5 seed in the ASUN Championship after finishing 14-10 in ASUN play and winning the RPI tiebreaker with 6 seed EKU. The Eagles will play 8 seed Austin Peay at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5.

The winner of the single elimination FGCU-Austin Peay contest will face No. 4 seed Jacksonville in the second round, which switches to a double elimination format. Central Arkansas secured the 1 seed as the winner of the Gold Division, and Graphite Division champion Stetson is the 2 seed.
