BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball (17-11) fell 3-2 to No. 17 North Florida (14-13) in its Saturday morning match at the FAU Capri Classic.
Nicole De Oliveira recorded her 75th career win at FGCU against the Ospreys, as she and
Erin Miller tallied one of FGCU's victories 22-20, 15-21, 15-11. Her 75 wins are the fourth most by an individual in program history. She joins
Kaitlyn Luebbers, Kacie Johnson and Trinity Rosales, all of whom she played with, as Eagles with 75 wins at FGCU.
Kaitlyn Beck earned her 75th career win between FGCU and Louisiana Monroe earlier this season.
Beck and
Kristina Gluc rallied to take another point, winning 19-21, 21-14, 15-9, but the Eagles were unable to come up with a third pair win. The Eagles lost both regular season matches to the Ospreys 3-2.
Next, FGCU will close the tournament against No. 15 FAU at 4 p.m.
